Enshrouded features several NPCs in various crafting professions, allowing players to unlock new recipes, accept quests, and advance the Enshrouded storyline.
Many of these artisans are available from the starting area of the game, called Springland.
In addition, NPCs offer some quests only after all other survivors have been rescued, such as the alchemist's quest to explore Hollow Halls.
As a result, collectors and other survivors can unlock it only after rescuing the first five artisans.
