- How to download saves from Satisfactory servers 1 . Log in to the game panel.
- 2 . [Go to the Files tab.
- 3. Locate the following directory /home/container/.config/Epic/FactoryGame/Saved/SaveGames/server
- 4. Right-click on the desired world save and press [Download].
- 5. Press Windows + R to open the Run menu.
- 6 . Type appdata and press Enter.
- 7. Navigate to the following directory AppData/Local/FactoryGame/Saved/SaveGames
- 8. Open the folder named after your local SteamID.
- 9. Upload the world file downloaded in step 4.
- 10. Launch the game from the Steam library and select "load".
- 11. Uploaded worlds will be listed along with other local saves.
SUMMARY
Satisfactory saves can be freely exchanged between server and local host.
Downloading the save from the server allows the player or server owner to continue progress offline.
This provides the best starting point if players wish to continue along the game's progression path without starting from the beginning.
Some mechanisms, such as user-created blueprint downloads, can make it quite difficult to start from the beginning on a new server because they are locked at a higher progression tier.
