How to Upgrade/Downgrade Game Servers

1. Prerequisites

Our system supports multiple languages in most areas.

The client portal automatically sets the display language based on the country code of your access location.

The images used in this article are displayed in English; however, your native language will be set as the display language in actual use. (Japanese, Korean, Chinese, English)

2. About Game Server Upgrades/Downgrades

Our game servers can be easily upgraded or downgraded from the client portal.

When upgrading or downgrading, server restart is not necessary, and the operation can be performed while the server is running.

Therefore, flexible usage is possible, such as downgrading during periods of non-use to save costs and upgrading only when in use or when there is a high number of concurrent connections.

Please note in advance that the billing system for upgrades/downgrades is as follows:

・A prorated charge for the remaining usage period at the time of upgrade/downgrade will be added to the bill or refunded to the deposit.

・Prorated refunds for downgrades will be refunded only to the deposit in our client portal account.

3. How to Upgrade/Downgrade

Select the corresponding server instance from “Services” in the client portal.

Click the “Upgrade/Downgrade” button in the service overview page.

On the transition screen, select the plan name and click “Continue”.

For upgrades, an additional charge will be incurred, and a payment screen will be displayed.

Once payment processing is complete, the game server upgrade will be executed.

For downgrades, a prorated refund for the remaining usage period from the time of downgrade processing will be executed, and the game server downgrade will be executed.
