The invite code for a Soulmask dedicated server can be found in the log file the server writes. With the invite code you can join without going through the in-game server list.

When you would use this
For everyday joining, searching for your server name in the in-game server list is by far the easiest way (Join the server). The invite code is useful in situations like these.- When the server has only just started and does not appear in the server list yet
- When there are many servers with similar names and yours is hard to pick out of the list
- When you want to hand out the invite code so that only your friends join
Anyone who knows the invite code can join your server. Do not post it anywhere public. Setting a join password (
Server Password) as well is safer. See How to set a join password for how to set one.Find the invite code
- Log in to the game panel and select your Soulmask server.
- Start the server (no log is written while it is stopped).
- Open the Files screen in the game panel.
- Open
/home/container/WS/Saved/Logs. - Open
WS.log. Read the warning below first.
WS.log contains this server's admin password in plain text. It is recorded in the start-up information line near the top of the file.Never hand
WS.log to a third party as it is, and never show it on social media, on a forum, or on a live stream. When you do need to share its contents — with support, for example — delete the lines containing the password before you send it.
/home/container/WS/Saved/Logs- With the file open, press
Ctrl+Fto open the search bar. - Type
SERVER UNIQUE IDand search. - On the line that is found, the string following
[SERVER UNIQUE ID:]is your invite code. Copy it.
SERVER UNIQUE IDRight after start-up it may not have been written yet. If you cannot find it, wait a little and open the file again.
A large number of red error lines appear in the log while the server is starting, but these appear during a normal start-up too and are not a problem.
