Billing After a Plan Change (How Account Credit Works)

Client Portal

After you change your plan, the invoice you already received may still show the amount of your previous plan. The amount has already been adjusted correctly, so you can simply pay the invoice as it is. This page explains why this happens and how the amount you actually pay is calculated.

There is nothing to worry about — just pay as usual

Even after your plan change is complete, an invoice that was already issued may keep showing the name and amount of your previous plan. The difference has already been refunded to you as account credit, and it is applied automatically when you pay.

The invoice does not need to be reissued, and there is nothing you need to do on your side.

Why the invoice still shows the old plan

Invoices are issued automatically about one week before the renewal date. If you change your plan after that invoice has been issued, the invoice keeps the details it had when it was created.

Separately, the difference for the period from the change date to your next renewal date is refunded automatically as account credit at the moment you change plans.

Example

Changing from a plan of ¥6,578 per month to a plan of ¥1,848 per month:

Invoice¥6,578Issued for the previous plan
Applied from account credit−¥5,341Difference already refunded
Amount you actually pay¥1,237

From the next renewal onward, you will be billed ¥1,848.

The figures above are an example. Your actual amounts depend on your plan and the date of the change.

Checking your account credit

When you log in to the client portal, your current balance is shown at the top right of the screen. If credit is available, the invoice payment screen tells you so, and the credit is applied automatically when you pay.

If anything about your invoice is unclear, please open a support ticket in the client portal — we are happy to help.
