| Important | Mumble is open-source voice chat software. BESTNET-GSERVER is not an official partner of the Mumble development team. For detailed information on how to obtain and use the app, please refer to the distributor’s documentation. |
1. Verify the connection address and port
When you open your server in the game panel, the connection address will be displayed at the top of the screen in the format address:port. You can click this section to copy it. Share this information with those who will be joining.

| Note | Your server will not appear in the public server list. Only those with whom you share the address and port will be able to connect. |
2. Prepare the Mumble app
Each person connecting will need to install the free Mumble app on their PC. It can be obtained from the official Mumble website. No preparation is needed on the server side.
3. Add the server
Add a new server in the Mumble app and enter the following three items:
- Address
The part to the left of the colon (:) confirmed in step 1. - Port
The number to the right of the colon. - Username
The name that will be displayed in the server. You can choose this freely.
If you have set a login password, you will need to enter that password when connecting. For information on how to set this, see Mumble Password and Administrator Settings.
4. A certificate verification prompt appears on first connection
When you connect for the first time, a certificate verification screen may appear. This is normal operation. The verification only happens once, and it will not change even if you restart the server.
5. Maximum of 25 simultaneous connections
A maximum of 25 people can connect simultaneously. The 26th person and beyond cannot connect. In this case, no “full” message will be displayed; instead, a connection error will occur.
If something isn’t working
- Is the address and port correct? Please verify that you have not mixed up the left and right sides of the colon.
- Is the server status showing as “Online”? Check this in the game panel.
- Have you set a login password? If you have, make sure to share it with those connecting.
- Are 25 people already connected? The 26th person cannot connect.
